  • The Partner Loss Support Group is an informal ACT based group of bereaved people who meet to provide mutual grief and loss support following the death of a partner or spouse.   This is peer support group not facilitated by a health professional.

  • The group meets socially for lunch once per month.

  • There is no obligation to attend every monthly meeting. You can opt in and out as you need.

The aim of the group is to:

  • Provide a safe space to allow grief to be expressed freely

  • To provide comfort, reassurance and normalise the individual experience of grief

  • To share coping strategies and provide encouragement as members come to terms with the loss

  • To provide input and shared ownership of the groups continuation
